arrow32
What a night I went out right after school not expecting much but thought what the heck not going to miss a day to be in the woods. Got out there and the wind was blowing about 20 to 25 MPH winds. Well sat there till about 15 till 5 nothing not a thing then out of no where I see this buck coming down the field a little 4pt. Before I forget I was set up on the ground in a pretty decent spot. Anyhow here he comes looks like he just got the crapped knocked out of him and he goes down into the woods. A few minutes later he comes back out and runs right towards me and goes down into the holler right beside me at 12 yards now shots. What is about to happen next amazed me. I'm sitting there and about 10 minutes after that buck ran off the stud of a 6pt walked out looking like he wanted to pick a fight with an unlucky buck. I grunted the wind was blowing so hard he couldn't tell where it came from tho. He is much nicer than I thought alot wider than the ears:eek: he is tall and is very even extremely nice buck for around here in WV. Anyway I watch him walk into 50 yards then he cuts up and goes down into the woods. Hopes shot down once again. T buck got away.:( Little did I know that there was another buck coming up behind me and when I saw him he was 20 yards perfect broadside shot. I was to afraid to move my arm to get the shot off so I watched him walk out of range. The end to an awesome hunt!!! I'm pumped. I'm not killing deer right now have 3 tags that need to be filled and more if I get them filled but I'm out there having a good time in the field and making some good friends for a lifetime. Sorry about my rambling once again. Good luck and be safe!!
buckee
Man Cody...that sounds like a great afternoon hunt. That many close together buck sightings and close calls would be enough to rattle anyone. I wish you luck next time you meet.
