wtnhunt
Got pics of this yote here the past couple weeks, not sure if all are of the same one, there is no shortage of them around. Saw what I think may have been the same yote or at least one about the same size in the pasture run through in front of our horses one morning on the way taking the kids to school last week. This camera is on a trail behind the house, roughly 250 yards away down the hill. This one was last weekend the night after we killed two deer in the field just to the right in this pic above this trail. After gutting our deer, I put everything in feed bags and in the tractor bucket and raised it up over night out of reach of any varmints. Posting a pic of the wife on the way to the stand first that same day, to put in perspective the size of the yote. Pretty good sized yote, my wife and daughter were hunting the morning this last pic was taken just up the hill from here, but where the yote was at they could not really see well. TreeWalker
Wow I would say that is a good sized yote......and in daylight hours to boot ?!?! Would be cool to stick an arrow in him.
wtnhunt
and in daylight hours to boot Yep, pretty bold alright Clay. Hope I see it or them when I am able to get a shot at them. Bow, ml, rifle does not matter to me, but yeah sticking an arrow in one would be cool and we are back to archery here Saturday. I will be hunting a stand near this trail some this weekend. buckee
Great pictures. I hope you can get rid of a few of the Yotes, for sure. You might have a little trouble getting rid of this trouble maker though
toddyboman
looks like you need to bust out the AR and go to work :D
wtnhunt
looks like you need to bust out the AR and go to work :D Yep, it is ready Todd, got a shot on one out the back sliding glass door not too long back with it. Deer processor/checking station not too far from us has offered to let me take a full deer carcass skin and all to hang from a tree, thinking I will give that a try. Just not too sure how yote hunting might mess with the deer season.
