Guest bow_hunter8
Ok reality has set in, last season which was my first season ever deer hunting, i got spoiled. I shot a 150 class 10 pt. well this season i have got nothing. and only7 days left lol. i have had 10-15 shots at does but only two shots at two bucks. the first was a 10 pt that several people have seen and they say it would go 180+ beleive it or not. but i was walking out of my stand and he seen me before i seen him and we both froze... i pulled the bow up but he took off. the next was at a 4 pt. lol and there was no way i was goin to shoot him. so i guess i have learned that deer hunting aint near as easy as it was last year lol. and now i am wondering if i will ever shoot a deer again. muggs
Re: man what a season!!!! (yea right.... lol) The most important thing is that you enjoy it. Otherwise it's starts to feel like work. Getting a deer makes it easy to enjoy, but there s more to it than that. Like Mudrunner said, those bucks will be there next season and they'll have grown. Better luck next year.
