nemodeerhuntersneighbor
I think it is absolutely worthless. I've called in a bunch of p&y class deer with other calls but i've had a can for 5 yrs and never had a single deer come to it. I use to use a grunt call that you could adjust to make doe bleats and I called in several deer with it. I;m done "experimenting" with the can call so I can sell you one if you want it. As with all calls, they don't always work! I think with deer, it has to be the right time. I shot my buck last year during the archery season using the "can". He was walking away, I turned it over three times he looked, but continued the same way. I did it another three times and this time he turned and started walking down wind. He got close enough to smell my scent bomb and gave me a perfect broadside shot. This year I was playing with a spike and a few does with the can. They all stayed around the area for a long time searching for that deer making all the noise. But remember too the rut was on full tilt where I was hunting! That was the key for it working. So I would say, yes they do work if you use it in the right time!
Southerngirl
I don't know if the bucks will come to it, but they kids love to play with them. wtnhunt
They work here and do seem to occasionally draw in curious does. Have yet to call in any mature bucks with the can call though.

Guest "BIGTYME"
I have had bucks come into the Estrus can . They do work somewhat. But it is like anything. You must figure out how to properly use it before taking into the field.
Tecumseh
I missed a big buck this year I shot over his back he didn't know where the shot came from and ran about 10 yards and stopped to look around I didn't have a good shot so I waited to see where he was going to move ,In the meantime a spike buck busted me and snorted up a storm the buck went to run another 30 yards I used the can and he stopped in his tracks and looked around for 5 minutes and walked calmly up the hill I just couldn't get a clean shot at him. huntermq32
Every good buck I shot I used it to help close the distence. I 'll never leave home without it. There have been alot of times bucks act like their deaf to it though. It is just another tool in the bag of what ever it takes.
Hoosier Hunter
My brother called in a nice buck with the can for my Dad. On 9-30-
OhioMatt
I've had some success with it. Called in a lot of smaller bucks and a 120 in 8point with it last season. I like to use it and mix in a tending grunt here and there. Catch em at the right time and they come in on a string.
Shawn
i think they only work during the rut. plus ive seen does run from it in non rut situations.
Randy
I wouldn't even go in the woods without one!! They do not always work, but in the right situation the are deadly!!! I killed a monster last year and might not have gotten a shot without it. I have called in numerous bucks with them.

LifeNRA
Same here. I sometimes blind call but not very often! Maybe Ill turn it over three times every two hours. Now if I see a buck, and its walking away, again Ill hit it three times. Ill do three more times if the buck doesn't respond. If the buck still wont turn Ill grunt at him. But I have learned not to use a deep sounding grunt, unless you have an absolute monster out there! As far as the "can", it helps if you also have out some kind of estrous scent near your location. Never on you, or on the same tree! Put them in areas where you have a good shot opportunity!
