RangerClay
I was wondering how many of you shoot at every coyote that passes by your treestand? I was sitting on my watch and within a few minutes a coyote came trotting by. I wanted to shoot him but I was afraid he would leave coyote smell and spook deer. Here in NY we are in the middle of really big coyote problem and we definately need to thin them out. But is it worth busting our set-up with a predator smell? What would you do? wtnhunt
Kill them Joe. We have a big problem with them here too. I have let a few pass by in the past when I knew it was prime time for deer, but wont anymore. We have been getting trail cam pics of a pretty good sized yote a lot here lately http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65108. I shoot all bob cats cuss I like there fur and they eat my turkeys. Every place is diffrent though. I do enjoy coyote hunts on some land but a fe lots we have so many deer there a grazing line on every tree for 1000 acres.
