spikekiller
I tried a bunch of different brands in my mossberg 500 12 ga. and it shot the wincester 2 3/4 super x sabots the best. Hope this helps
Leo
Hope you get a chance to find out where they hit before you try and take a deer with them. Different brands of slugs shoot very differently out of different guns. Slugs should be sighted in at no further than 50yds. Even the ones that are supposed to work further than that. That doesn't mean you can't shoot stuff further away, you can. It's just a whole lot easier to do sight in work with slugs at 50yds and after you got that dialed in see where it hits a 100. Guest stuffdeer
I've tried many different types of Shells in my Mossberg 500. Honestly, the ones that shoot the straightest and most consistant, are the Remington 2 3/4's. Its funny, the cheapest slugs, shoot the most consistent for me. Bowtech_archer07
I shoot Winchester 2 3/4" sabots out of my Mossberg 500. I have shot them both in a 20 and 12 ga. and they both shoot great and do a lot of damage. Every gun will shoot different however, even if it is the same make so try a few different brands and see what shoots best out of your gun
