horst Posted November 13, 2007 Report Share Posted November 13, 2007 Ive got some 777 Ive been shooting for going on 3 years now.An older gentlemen gave me some actual blackpowder for my flintlock hes had in the closet for something like 10 years and it fires just fine.Keep it in a cool dry place and it stays good for a long time. When I do take it out and shoot a few rounds with it in my older Hawken I can't tell any degradation in performance. Performs just like it did 20 years ago. Key is to store it properly.
