Guest goosebuster13
has anyone experienced any problems with these broadheads or do they live up to all the hype about how good they really are? i am quite impressed with video clips on them but i have always shot fixed blade and there is never a worry about opening correctly or penetration. just looking for input on these. thanks
Ohiobucks
I can't speak for the 3 blade version, but the 2 blade is simply an awesome head. Blew through both shoulders on this guy, 25 yard shot, he made it about 80 yards doing the bulldozer through the woods....devastating head IMO. Indy-Travis
As for the 3-blades, I shot two deer this year with them, both does, and one worked perfectly, the other failed terribly, never openend. I recovered both deer, but the latter was not an easy recovery, as the hole was not even 3/4", very little blood and she went over 150 yards. I took the third head out of the quiver, and don't know if I will chance using it or not. Might just become a very expensive squirrel/coyote head. Tominator
Shot two deer with the Rage 2 blade this year. The first deer died within 15 seconds or so. Blew through the ribs and broke the off leg. The other deer I never found the arrow or the deer, so I don't know what happened there. maytom
My cousin has been using them since last year, and after trying his three bladed Rage heads out at 20 and 30 yards, they flew right into the very center of the bullseye!! I wish I could tell you that I arrowed a monster this season, but it was the worst bowseason I ever seen!! I highly rate the Rage heads!!
