sureshot Posted November 19, 2007 Report Share Posted November 19, 2007 the past 4 years the second week of rifle has been way better, colder, rut going on hard, I checked the long range forcast and thesecond week was colder with snow in the forecast, this week warmer,[i took the second week off] Saterday i went out coyote hunting and seen the most nice deer I have ever seen in a day, I counted 18 bucks over 140 class, 7 were over 150, 3 over 160 including one I am not sure but he was a monster,All ruttign like crazy, sunday I went to the farm and in a 45 mph wind could see 3 bucks from the front window dogging does at 1 pm, today I have heard of 2 huge deer taken and peopel talking about the monsters theys een, I am stuck at work!! This is goign to be the hardest week ever working, bucks rutting I sure hope they continue goign when the cold weather hits later in the week, Oh well hopefully everyone weeds out the medium bucks this week and next week the big boys will come in to take care of the does,lol, at least I can dream, I am pretty sure I missed the big rut this year, sure hope I can connect on one of the boonies I have been seeing early! sureshot Posted November 20, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 20, 2007 thanks bud, super deer you got congrats!just really kills me that I am working and could be out hunting, would love to get the radio to sing the song take this job and shove it tomorrow lol!!I need a job that goes from march 1- sept 1, I woudl work 6 months a year 6 days 12 hours a day to get my huntign time off lol!!
