horst
Abster, I could be wrong but I believe the 150 grain load is based on Pyrodex, 777 shoots differently and creates more pressure in the barrel, a hotter load I guesse is what Im trying to say.Near as I can tell 150 grains of 777 and 150 grains pyrodex are 2 different ballgames completely.I believe on the can it says something about loading 15% less powder then you normally shoot if switching to 777.If the same holds true for the pellets which Ive never shot 3- 50 grain pellets may well be more then your guns rated for. bigmoss
You can put 3 pellets in a pro hunter no problem it has a magnum barrell
too_pointer
Triple 7 pellets are the same as pyrodex pellets as far as power. The lose 777 is a different charge and should never be used at 150 grain. Lose 777 should never be used above 120 grain. So yes, you can use 3 -50 grain pellets of 777 or pyrodex. They also make 30 grain pellets now to help those who need a different load. too_
Guest motoxguy47
if your gun can handle 150 grains then it will be find i personally use 100 grains which was 2 pellets when i used the pellets but my dad put 3 in his encore and it did fine...i suggest using the loose powder tho because you can fine tune your load better that way
