stevebeilgard
let's face it... after reading that entire post, most of the anti-teds will dispell it as b.s. they believe what they want to believe, and resent knowing the facts that may interfere with what they know to be true. they also say bush wasn't in service.. well, that's b.s. too. he flew f-102 interceptors, our first line of defence. his job was to protect us from russian bombers. he was never given orders to viet nam. but, the truth simply does not fit the mantra of the anti bush folks. or the anti ted folks, or the anti...... ruttinbuc
Take the man in the street approach and ask passersby what they think of Ted Nugent's show. I'd be willing to bet that a majority will ask " Who is Ted Nugent?" or "I didn't know he had a show. Is he on cable?" His show may be over the top at times, but whenever this guy is on TV in an interview he comes across as intelligent and speaks his mind in defense of many things we all believe in. Not just hunting. I think too many worry about and in many ways patronize the anti hunter-anti gun groups. We need to be the squeaky wheel and tell it like it is. All of us!!!! Nothing Ted Nugent says is propaganda and lies so often used by the mis or ill informed people who oppose our views and have their own agenda. Cowering to them is just what they want. I'll carry the flag for Ted Nugent and anyone else who fights for the truth in this battle.
BowJoe
I guess my opinion doesn't vary a lot from what's already posted but here's mine anyway. I don't agree with shooting fenced in animals and calling it hunting and celebrating it as such. JMO. I think more people in the industry need to hold press conferences showing the ethical hunting and taking of animals like PETA does for abuse of animals. I think for every PETA article in the public media, there needs to be a hunting article. I may not agree with what Ted does in some situations but I do think he is one person I'm glad is on our side. After all, he's who Waddell, Blanton, Jordan, Primos, Shelton, Akins, Lekosky and all the others look up to and will tell you so. In fact, watch RTRT Season 4 and check out the Newell Ranch hunts. Not to mention he did convert almost every person on his reality show to see the positive of hunting, guns and the outdoors. Several animal lovers, gun haters, vegans and city folk walked away from that show with a new perspective and a better light of the truth. If they were converted then think how many others at home were converted. I say the positive does outweigh the negative in most cases with Ted. JMO.
