Also, do any of you guys know of any good ones for kids around 12-14? Do your kids go into these tournaments? Where do you usually find out about these? Thanks for your help! Tony Posted November 21, 2007 Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 most shoots we all go to are Local shoots. you can find out about them through your local pro shops or the NFAA, your state archery association, IBO or ASA. im fortunate to have traveled to many Natioanskl shotos and just love seeing the kids shoot. they are the future of Archery. there are a lot of shoots that do have differant age groups for kids of all ages. try doing a search on the web for your state archery association. they should be listed with contact names and websites with full information on where and how to go to them. i will be gone for Thanksgiving, but will be back on sat. Southerngirl Posted November 21, 2007 Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 Most shoots welcome youth, and you would be in a seperate scoring group but would shoot with everyone else at local shoots. What type of shoots are you looking to get into, 3d or paper targets? The only local place we have that does indoor shoots no longer allows kids to shoot with adults (they have a shoot on a seperate day), so we no longer go there.
