So, they have decided to sign former hot dog eating champion Masahide Kobayashi to a eye popping $6.25 million dollar deal. It is unclear exactly what Kobayashi will contribute to the team, although sources say it's likely Kobayashi and CC Sabathia will have nightly hot dog eating contests near the 2nd base area during the 7th inning stretch of home games. Anyway, this is a typical Dolan contract. While the other owners are shelling out 18 million dollar deals, we throw 3 mil at a washed up Japanese pitcher.
