3whunt
Grunted this buck in the third day of the OK black powder season nearly a month ago. Shot him with the TC Omega, 100 grains 777, and a 250 TC shockwave. He was quartering to me really hard. Bullet went it about 12 inches below the white patch on the right side and exited right behind the left should. I figured he would drop, but suprisingly he made it about 100 yards before piling up. 3whunt
that's a nice okie buck--what part of the state did you kill him? congrats todd I shot him close to honobia in the SE part of the state. This little dude had a monsters additude. If you look close you can tell that all but one of his tines and both main beams were completely rubbed to a blunt tip. Loved the attitude. We figured him to be a 3 1/2 year old. He dressed around 130lbs and had a neck to match.

3whunt
Did you get this one off the lease?? Didn't recognize the area from the pic. Yeah I got him on the lease. The picture is from my dad's home away from home in Poteau. We didn't get him off the mountain until 10:00 pm. Needless to say we were tired and didn't get any field pics except for this one.
