I'd located him a couple days before, but couldn't get close to him. He was staying out on the wide open prairie.....a long ways from any cover... He's a 10X6 with a double/split beam on one side. I shot this buck before the rut really got into swing.... He was just going from his feeding to his bedding area when I got him. They're rutting heavy now though.
