tedicast
I am shooting 55/75 GT XT Hunters. I want orange nocks, but it seems GT only makes flourescent orange. I want the solid orange nocks like my old Easton Uni-Nocks. does anyone know where I can get solid orange nocks? Will any other nocks work with GT's? Thanks in advance guys

tedicast
Re: Gold Tip Question [ QUOTE ] your uni nocks from your eastons will fit. That is what I use. [/ QUOTE ] I was comparing the GT nocks, and the uni nocks side by side tonight. The part of the nock that inserts into the arrow is about 1/4" shorter on the uni-nocks. This isn't a problem? dg
Re: Gold Tip Question Nope. But I've found the GT nocks handle abuse better than the Eastons.
VTbowman
Re: Gold Tip Question I recieved orange on mine but they were the see-threw type. Not the Lock Nocks either. I have not seen any solid but have not looked either. Good Luck!
tedicast
Re: Gold Tip Question I have the transparent, flourescent orange nocks for the GT's. I used the same color on my aluminum Eastons, before I switched to the solid orange. I think I am able to follow the arrow flight better with the solid orange. I'll give the UniNocks a try in the GT's. I was asking because I thought I read somewhere that you could only use GT nocks in GT's.
VTbowman
Re: Gold Tip Question I have some solid flor green easton nocks off my ICS arrows I tried in my GT's since I went with all 3 flor. green vanes on a white reflective tape wrap. They did not fit as tight as I would of liked. Some not at all. I went with the GT trans. orange for the season and was given some GT trans. greens later. Once I installed the green I decided to stick with the oranges. LOL Go figure.. For me I follow the vanes and wrap more then the nocks while in flight. The entire green on white wrap is the ticket for me. The nock helps me once its stuch in the target but thats it. JMO
tedicast
Re: Gold Tip Question Maybe it's just me, but after switching from the flourescent to the solid orange nocks, it seemed I followed my arrow better. It could be all in my head too...lol
tedicast
Re: Gold Tip Question Here is a pic of the arrows. The solid nocks just seem to show up sp much better than the flourescent ones. I'm gonna try my solid orange Uni-Nocks.

VermontHunter
Re: Gold Tip Question I see tedicast likes a slight offset for his fletches....I like the color combo they really stand out...
tedicast
Re: Gold Tip Question Bit of right offset VH. I love the color combo too. Last year I was shooting 2 white, 1 orange, without the wraps. Tried them with 2 orange ,and the white nocks, and 2 white with the orange nocks this year. Pretty sure I'm gonna stick with the 2 white. My brother (scottyluck on RT) fletched them for me last night.
VermontHunter
Re: Gold Tip Question I'll say he did a fantastic job...I have been using a straight fletching, after I get my whisker biskit on my bow I may try thr right off set. I've been using 2 orange and 1 white with the Quickspin Vanes. A note on the quickspins they aren't what they are hyped to be and will be going back to the Duravanes...but anyhow scottyluck did a super job on the fletching.. Chrud
Re: Gold Tip Question The arrow wrap I use ends in white, so my nocks are white.
