I'm a Chevy man myself and I'm looking around for an early 40's model. Old trucks are cool and its nice to see what you did to that old Ford. Looks like a fun ride that's for sure. lonewolf5347 Posted January 9, 2005 Author Report Share Posted January 9, 2005 Re: 1955 FORD PICK UP F/S AdvantageTimberLouI I have done lots of streetrods over the years,can't tell you how many hours go into a ground off restro.I did keep a record when I did my 50 lead sled merc: full custom READY about 2 thousand man hours .My son is working on his 1946 chevy pick up ,think he has off and on 10 years in the truck and still not done.The complete body is sitting on a 1984 shorten S 10 chassic.My day have come to an end when it comes to working on any more streetrods.I do everthing from color,engine,tranny,welding you name I do all my own work just a labor of love Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
