NS whitetail
At 6 am on Monday morning, our 6 month lobster fishery opens. All the boats are loaded and will be heading out in the morning for the fishing grounds. Tommorow ( what we call "dumping day" ) is the most nerve wrecking day. Getting all the traps overboard without anyone getting caught up and pulled over is on everyones mind. A guy has to be very careful and keep his mind on what he is doing at all times, no day dreaming about big bucks only the $$$ bucks are what counts now This is our boat ready for the morning. As you can see, there isn't much standing room to start and get the first strings of 14 traps over.
