muggs
Lets go OU!!! Led by Ohio's own Bob Stoops, my Buckeyes need a big win by the Sooners in the Big 12 Championship...which is going to happen. At least I hope, could anyone say snoozer more than a Mizzou vs. WVU title game. Although I'd really hate backing into this game, hey, that's the retarded system that's in place so we might as well exploit it. btw- what happened to the mighty LSU John?? PA-LEEEEEAAAAASE don't give me that SEC BS either.
Tominator
Yep. I think the West-Ba-God vs. Bucks matchup is better for Ohio State win. If WVU loses and Mizzou wins, now that's going to be a tough game for Ohio State with that wide open Mizzou offense. What happens if both WV and Mizzou lose? muggs
What happens if both WV and Mizzou lose? This biggest mess in the history of the BCS. You'd have to think Kansas would go...even though they didn't even play in the Big 12 Championship. Or, heck, if Oklahoma beats Mizzou, why shouldn't they go? Lord knows, the BCS hacks would love to see an OU vs. OSU matchup- so would I. That said, I really don't see Pittsburgh beating WVU, but with this season who knows. cinch314
Sooners can bite me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They stomped my beloved Cowboys.
muggs
To be honest with you Chris, I'd rather play Mizzou. West Virginia's defense is very weak, and I think the Buckeye would run Beanie Wells all over them. But we have trouble with that type of wide open spread offense. Need I remind you of Florida last season and the Illini this season. Both spreads, both are only losses in the last 30 some games..
toddyboman
I'd rather play Mizzou. So you wanna lose to the GREAT TIGERS.....:D
rhine16
SEC BS either. 11 of 12 teams are bowl eligible. On any given Saturday one can upset the other. I think the SEC championship game should be the national championship :D:D

Tominator
yeah you can do that too:p:p LOL Honestly, I do think Mizzou would give us trouble. That offense is too wide open for Big 10 style football.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
11 of 12 teams are bowl eligible. That'd be 10 out of 12...and so what? i guess if that makes you a good conference then the big ten is better with 10 out of 11 being bowl eligible  On any given Saturday one can upset the other. :confused:this statement is so overused its darn right funny at this point ...this can be said for ANY conference in the country, only difference is that if it happens in the SEC everyone claims it is because of how "tough" of a conference it is

Knew that one would work. But honestly, in my opinion there is no other conference that is as strong from top to bottom.
toddyboman
LOL Honestly, I do think Mizzou would give us trouble. That offense is too wide open for Big 10 style football. I'm still amazed that Mizzou is good.:eek: Never in my life can I remember them being good at football. Probably the reason I don't follow college football. Pinkel(head coach) was interviewed today on the Jim Rome show and from what he said and the problems MU had with recruiting its no wonder they have always been so bad...Maybe he can change things for the future.... dogdoc
personally I think if you don't have a conference championship you shouldn't even qualify for the BCS! Go Tigers!
SuperMn106
I hope the Sooners win. I have 10 bucks riding on it. Even though I am a Michigan fan, I think it will be Ohio State and WV in the championship game and I think OSU will be National Champs. muggs
personally I think if you don't have a conference championship you shouldn't even qualify for the BCS! You make a good point Todd. They should either not count the conference championship games, or have uniformity across the country with all conference playing championship games, or doing away with them.
