ccwhitey
I was so excited to actually do some serious hunting over thanksgiving break. I actually skipped classes so that I could sit out in the woods with the rest of the other lucky hunters for opening day of shotgun season in Illinois. That after noon I screwed up on a 140s nine and he got out of shotgun range before I knew what he was, and then the next day I hit a different 140 nine, that was to far out of my range but shot anyway and i couldn't find him:mad::mad:. Once shotgun season was over I deceided to keep on bow hunting. I shot my bow at midday, since I was to lazy to get out of bed, and was very happy with my shooting. I climbed up my tree about 1:30 latter that day only to realize that a metal cable on my bow was only hanging on by two little wires. I then went to a great archry shop that was next to me and they said that they don't make those type of cables anymore and I would be hard up findind one, which I can't. Now I can't hunt the rest of the year because college kids never have money:(. I was going to save the money I make over x-mas break to buy a new bow and was wondering if you guys knew of any good bows for a reasonable price, whether new or a guy that was selling his old one? Thanks for the help in advance!!!

arrow32
If it comes down to you having to buy a new bow all together those Bear bows don't have a bad price tag on them for some. Maybe look at a Parker as well.
