rattled in a deer with that deers horns from the year before ? I was thinking about this today while hunting, has anyone ever found a pair of shed and used them to rattle in that exact buck ? if so how sweet would have be

I've never found any sheds that I thought sounded good. They all sound kind of hollow or dead to me.

I can't say I have ever done that but the irony would be great! I have missed the same buck two years in a row with the same bow, but that always happens =)

Never have b/c I don't use real horns. I use a rattle bag. Although that would be kind of cool

My dad has rattled in a few bucks in his day, He uses a horn from 2 different deer

Nope, sure haven't. Have only rattled in some smaller bucks here, and they were rattled in with antlers from a deer I had killed a few years earlier.

I never use shed to rattle. Like said before, they just don't sound quite right to me. I use the antlers I salvaged of a buck I killed years ago.

Ive used a ratttle bag and sheds and Ive had more luck with the sheds never called in the same deer though
