Finally...I got another one

I finally tagged another bird (SIGH) This one was a fairly large hen, from the same flock as my first turkey taken this year.

I was set up on top of a hill, overlooking another set of woods where I believed the hens were hanging out. My plan was to just call until I either froze to death or shot a bird. After about an hour of clucks I gave my poor hand a break, and ten minutes or so into the break I hear something running in the woods across the valley and over the fence. Soon a turkey comes into sight and takes wing and flies over to the base of the hill I was sitting on. I couldn't see it when it landed, because of all the brush on the hillside, and I never saw them again. After another half-hour, I was about to call it quits (I was more than half-frozen) when I saw a flock of birds out in a cornfield. I started calling again and soon drew one lone hen in. She flew up into a tree about 70 yards away from me and started to preen herself. Another hen started to yelp from across the valley, and the hen in the tree soon flew down into the valley and started to head off towards the yelping hen. I just copied every call the yelper was making and did them just a touch more aggressive, and soon called in both hens. Five minutes later, I had my bird. Five minutes until shooting hours expired.
