Need gift ideas

Okay guys help me out here; I want to get both of my sons a knife for Christmas, and I’m also going to have their names engraved on them.

One is 14 the other is 12

So if you were a boy in that age range which would you like most, a folding knife or multi-tool?

Brands? Model?

that depends alot on the kid. When I was that age all I wanted was my folding knife but my kid wants a multi-tool.

I'd go with a folding pocket knife. It will last a lifetime, where a multi-tool could wear out.

I always liked folding knifes and still do.

Let me do some digging. I know of a some family owned place that makes knifes and engraves things for you not badly priced either. Will let you know what I find tomorrow.

I have a 15 yr old and an 11 yr old.....both boys prefer folding knives. They collect them as a matter of fact.

this is a good question i think kid's that age would like the multi-tool. when i was around that age my uncle nate who collected knives gave me an old hawk blade knife for widdling wood but he had about 60 thousand dollars worth of knives so it didnt hurt him to give me a cool one.
