texastrophies
The flash in the pan QB had 300+ yards 4 TD's and 1 Int that should have been the 5th TD if TO would of held on to the ball. :D:D Let the lame excuses begin:rolleyes::rolleyes: 37-
Guest Finn
Never said Romo is a flash in the pan (he's from Wisconsin ) Cowboys were better last night....period
Chrud
Cowboys were better last night....period Pretty much says it all. Favre's two INT's led to two Dallas TD's, which made the difference.
VABuckSlayer
From what I saw the Cowboys are the better team. Hated to see Farve go down. That will hurt my fantasy team! TO dropping a pass in his chest in the end zone... I've never seen that before!
muggs
Well, Al Harris might be the most overrated corner in the NF. That guy's coverage was puzzling. I'm not sure why he gets so much credit. The Pack also was missing their best corner, lost their star QB early, and didn't have one of their two best pass rushers....and they still had a difficult time beating the Aaron Rogers led Pack...at home no less. Why are you so impressed? That game should have been a blow out. btw- Romo made some nice throws, especially to Fasano, but you better enjoy this season, because it's a fluke. You're going to have to trust me on this.
texastrophies
The whole GB teams coverage on The 'Boys receivers was lacking. They left a number of receivers alone throughout the game. As you know, the reason the Star QB was out was because The 'Boys knocked him out!!! Part of the game. Kind of wish they wouldn't have, he was being a real asset to The 'Boys, but he sure was putting a hurting on my fantasy team, so I was glad he was out in that respect.:D:D I agree the game should have been a blow out, but The 'Boys changed their game plan in the second half and went conservative until they needed to score again at the end of the game. Sorry, but there is no way I trust you.
muggs
I tell you one thing, their defense is just flat out awesome. Ware is a monster. Not only does he always get to the QB, but he guy played great in pass coverage, a lot better than Al Harris, I tell you that. btw- T.O. gets open, that's for sure, but for as good as he is, man are his hands suspect. Every game I've watched him play, he always has numerous drops. I think Romo is a good QB, but I give a lot of that credit to the Boys offensive coordiantor, Jason Garrett or whatever. My Brownies tried getting him a few years ago and I was really hoping they would. That guy can game plan. Having T.O. open all the time 40 yards downfield can make a guy look good too. muggs
Oh yeah, I love watching Marion Barber play football too.
toddyboman
I didn't get to watch the game....NO NFL network  But the highlights I saw on ESPN.....Showed TO WIDE OPEN all the time:eek: where was the Pack secondary??? TO was so open on some of those plays a high school qb could have completed those passes. I was not real found of Romo's post game interview. Didn't seem like he offered much respect to Farve. Ever answer was as if he was doing a stand up comedy act...Always trying to make a joke.... He was NOT funny but lame IMO.
texastrophies
I believe the guy that deserves the most credit for Dallas' season is Jason Garrett. His play call selection for the most part has been amazing this year. TO is like a jeckyll and hyde, one play he will make a spectacular catch, and then the next play will be a simple one and he will miss it, like the ball in the end zone. I could have caught that one. The guy I like on defense tho, is AJ Hawk, I first saw him when UT played OS a couple of years ago and he showed he could play then and he is still doing it now. Wish we had him. Wish we had him. Braylon Edwards is a lot like that too. He's made some amazing grabs this year (two were during that 51 point out burst against Cincy week 2) but he's good for dropping a few 3rd down passes when he's standing there all by himself. As far as Hawk goes, he's one of my all-time favorite Buckeye players. He was all over the field in college, but I haven't really seen much of him in the NFL. I know he had a great rookie year and led the Pack in tackles I think. We've got another good one right now in James Larinitius (no way did I spell that right:D). He's a heck of a player, and he's really, really good in pass coverage which is not Hawk's strenght. He's going to be an asset to any NFL team, I just wish we had our 1st rounder to try an grab him. He'll probably go in the first 15 picks though. Guest adrenaline_junky
We all know the biggest excuse is going to be the fact that Farve got hurt. To be honest with you if Farve would have kept playing it wouldn't of changed the score at all cause honestly He wasn't playing that good to begin with. Look out Patriots here come them cowboys and it ain't gonna be the same as the last time yall played them.

Tominator
Gotta admit, the Cowgirls were/are a better team than the Pack. Don't think they are better than the Pats or the Colts though. Cowgirls are right up there with the Stoolers in my book though. I see them getting to the super bowl, but hope they get spanked by the AFC. buckbuster11
Cowboys are were the better team no doubt, I would have liked to see a healthy Green Bay play that game though. And what the heck was with that call in the first quarter when Harris ripped the ball from T.O with the Pack up 3-0? I still haven't figured out how Dallas got to keep the ball. That was a huge play in my book. The Packers could have turned around, made it a two score game, and the whole game changes right there. toddyboman
What I heard/saw on espn is the ref had already "blew" the whistle so the play was deemed dead......But from what I could see TO was still on his feet when Harris stripped the ball... It was a odd play. Would have liked to seen the entire thing and not just the highlight..
muggs
They ruled that his forward progress was stopped prior to the ball being stripped, so the play was already dead before Harris got it...that was one of three bogus calls the refs shafted the Packers with. That one long pass interference where the two guys got their legs tangled was another (that one led to a Romo TD pass- one of two that were gift wrapped for him). Oh yeah, Terrance Newman had one of the most blanant face guarding plays I've ever seen in the end zone, right in front of the line judge and no flag was thrown. c_lou
What I don't understand is why the Packers went away from the running game in the first half. Grant was ripping off 5-6 yards at a time. It seems like Coach McCarthy wanted Brett to have a big game even though the line couldn't stop Dallas' rush. Stupid Coach, Favre showing up and crapping the bed, and a few questionable calls did the Packers in. Not to mention a few key injuries. Woodson being the biggest. That forces the questionable abilities of the 3 & 4 string CB's to play.

Ironranger
It's not the playoffs yet and the Packers will be there. They may have lost home field advantage on this one but it's only regular season and the playoffs is when it counts. Not to say I'm a packer fan as I'm from Minnesota but they are a good team and I hope they do well. Dallas is good too and it's going to make for some great playoff football. That's what it's all about...
Muff
Really any game in the NFC doesn't matter...now does it...I am a GIANTS fan and wish they were doing as good as the boys.....but NO ONE AND I MEEN NO ONE is going to beat the Pats. PotashRLS
Congrats to the Cowboys. They have awesome cheerleaders and deserve a good season. They've been bad for a number of years now and might be at risk of having some of their fans jumping ship. As for the Packers, 4-12 or 12-4, it doesn't really matter. Green Bay is still Titletown USA and their fans bleed Green and Gold. Maybe thats because "we" own the team and not some suit up in a skybox. The Packers and Cowboys will play again....
