johnf
I almost put this in my 25-06 yesterday when I went out hunting before I noticed this. What do you think it would have done? This is a factory load that I got from wal-mart this year.
Strut10
That's a nasty looking one. Did you actually try to see if it would actually chamber? Looks like it might not. If you did manage to chamber it and light it off, it'd most likely just fire-form itself to the shape of the chamber (i.e. a normal empty brass shape). You'd get very poor accuracy from it. johnf
I felt the wrinkle as I was pulling it out of my pocket. I didn't try to load it.
Leo
With such a big tear in the neck of the cartridge there is a very real risk the brass would not seal the chamber. That means powder gas can come out both ends of the barrel. Not good. It really could have hurt you.

johnf
Remington said to send them any bullets that were mis-shaped along with the lot number and where I got them, and they would "take care of it". Don't know what that means.

The Kid
thats ugly they should do more than just get you a box of shells that could have seriously been bad if you shot it, they should do better than just a box of shells!!!
