Ambuscher
The latest addition to the house hold needs a name. Just a little history, I trapped thise little girl/guy out of our barn the other night because we had chickens that were coming up missing. I was going to shoot it and skin it for the fur but it seamed rather tame (for something wild anyway). I know it will never be tame enough to be an actual pet, but what's another mouth to feed when you have cows, chickens, turkeys, and several cats. Alisha
Just a thought, but is it legal in your state to keep a live raccoon in your posession? If so, fatten it up, then shoot it later on and make a nice hat.....
toddyboman
Just a thought, but is it legal in your state to keep a live raccoon in your posession? Yup might wanna check on that first If you can keep it maybe you should name it.....Lucky:)
wtnhunt
Yep, might want to check your game laws. Dont think it is legal here to keep any live animals in your possession. With the way they have raided our garden over the past, cute or not, the lil guy would not still be alive to worry about naming it.
Southerngirl
ahh what the government don't know..............................I'd name him Bandit, he's wearing a mask and stealing chickens

Tominator
I'd name him "Bullet" because that's what I'd be feeding him. Illegal to possess in Ohio, which doesn't matter to me, cuz' I hates them things. Vermin around here, trash pickers, cat food stealin', sweet corn eatin' vermin. Ambuscher
Here you're allowed to have up to six as pets. You have to keep the males and females apart so they can't breed. Anyway, LOL, I guess I will have to name it Houdini. I left for work this morning at 5:00 am, it was there and fine. Wife left for work at 6:00 am, it was gone. I told the wife that next one was going to stay in the house just in case it got out. LMBO

The third one I caught almost got out of that thing. Somehow he pulled the handle inside the trap, and bent the door on it also. I still don't know how he got enough paw strength to pull that handle completely off and inside the cage.
