What I don't understand is why Hawaii can go undefeated and still not get a shot at the national title. So they go undefeated then what.....nothing??? What's fun about that??? They are only allowed to go so far no matter how hard they try? Where's the fairness in that?

Yeah they play in the WAC. Yeah it isn't a strong conference. Who picks the conferences anyway? The school??

BTW, I hope OSU beats the crap out of LSU. There...I said it. It probably won't happen, but I hope OSU gives them at least a good game.

Again, the Buckeyes are still suffering from last year's title game. Sure, Florida whooped them, but honestly, the Buckeyes did not show up. Hearing how great they were went to their heads, and really fired up the Gators and they made a huge statement.

But I really like the Buckeyes chances in this one. LSU is tough, but the Buckeyes have a QB that can take care of the ball, they play great defense, and they can run it with the best of them. That's a recipe for sucess right there. It will be a good game.

This reminds me of the '02 Championship game where the Buckeyes faced the Hurricanes who were huge favorites and won. Don't sleep on the Bucks.;)

Yeah muggs Hawaii. They went undefeated. If that's not good enough then their conference shouldn't be eligible in the BCS. They are the only team in the country that didn't lose a game, they play in a conference recognized by the BCS, and yet a 2 loss team goes ahead of them?

BTW---all you guys that think college football is better then pro because it is still "pure" football and isn't effected by money, think again. This is a perfect example of how money is killing NCAA football.

Oklahoma, Kansas, Hawaii, USC, or Virginia Tech.

USC did lose to Stanford...AT HOME, come on guys. btw- I'm book marking this right now. When OSU wins, I'll call you out, one by one.

You all do realize OSU is one of the top three programs in the nation, don't you? They lost their Heisman winning senior QB, their starting runningback, two of their wideouts were drafted in the 1st round, and their only loss was too a BCS bowl team.

LSU is very overrated...a solid team, but in no shape or form is it a lock for them to win. And if you think Georgia, Kansas, Hawaii, Va Tech would stand a chance against LSU or OSU, you have to rethink this game a bit.

Not saying Hawaii stands a chance at winning. But they at least deserve a chance to PLAY. The only team to go undefeated!

Why would the BCS put a team that doesn't stand a chance at winning into this game?

Btw- all of you who support the en vogue arguement that the SEC is all that is college football, you should be in agreement with the BCS leaving Hawaii out (if you're not picking it up- I'm talking about you John).;)

To answer your question Eric...they would not put Hawaii in. Reason and one reason only: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

The system stinks. It always has. If you think it doesn't, it's only cause your beloved Buckeyes are in the top seat.
