Chrud
I watched the last 3 minutes or so of the WV game. That was quite a stunner! I believe they said WV was a 28 point favorite.
Tominator
Yup! Media is talking another Big 10 vs. SEC matchup. Hopefully Ohio State will show up this year. O H!
SuperMn106
Since WV lost I think it should be OSU and Kansas. I don't think you can throw a two loss team in the championship game when there is a one loss team up there. Thats just my opinoin though. VABuckSlayer
I have a feeling it will be Ohio St. vs. LSU but I think Oklahoma should play in it after beating Mizzo and winning the Big 12 title. Will be interesting to see who Ohio St. will loose to in the championship game!
GobblerBuster618
yeah it will be interesting to see.. but one things for certain it wont be your team vabuckslayer lol. Go BUCKS.

DSGB
Another SEC National Title. I can think of 4 or 5 teams more deserving to play in the NC game.
craig mack
I know you dont think Georgia should be there? LSU will win. Would rather see USC or Oklahoma play LSU, it would be a better game. Not saying its ohios fault, they did what they were supposed to do. buckbuster11
I can't understand why Hawaii and Oklahoma were not clearly next in line ahead of LSU. Hawaii is undefeated, and Oklahoma just beat the #1 ranked team in the nation for it's conference championship.
muggs
Hawaii John, really?? The Buckeyes will be ready this year. Go Bucks!! btw- it should be Kansas. They only have one loss, which was to the #1 team in the nation at that time...why in the world does a two loss team go.
Guest Andrea
What I don't understand is why Hawaii can go undefeated and still not get a shot at the national title. So they go undefeated then what.....nothing??? What's fun about that??? They are only allowed to go so far no matter how hard they try? Where's the fairness in that? Yeah they play in the WAC. Yeah it isn't a strong conference. Who picks the conferences anyway? The school?? BTW, I hope OSU beats the crap out of LSU. There...I said it. It probably won't happen, but I hope OSU gives them at least a good game.
Tominator
There's easily 10 teams in the nation that have a beef about not going to The Game. BCS sucks, plain and simple, and until they get some sort of playoff system this system will never be fair. I say let the boys decide it on the field. Top 8 go, best team wins. muggs
Again, the Buckeyes are still suffering from last year's title game. Sure, Florida whooped them, but honestly, the Buckeyes did not show up. Hearing how great they were went to their heads, and really fired up the Gators and they made a huge statement. But I really like the Buckeyes chances in this one. LSU is tough, but the Buckeyes have a QB that can take care of the ball, they play great defense, and they can run it with the best of them. That's a recipe for sucess right there. It will be a good game. This reminds me of the '02 Championship game where the Buckeyes faced the Hurricanes who were huge favorites and won. Don't sleep on the Bucks.
buckbuster11
Yeah muggs Hawaii. They went undefeated. If that's not good enough then their conference shouldn't be eligible in the BCS. They are the only team in the country that didn't lose a game, they play in a conference recognized by the BCS, and yet a 2 loss team goes ahead of them? BTW---all you guys that think college football is better then pro because it is still "pure" football and isn't effected by money, think again. This is a perfect example of how money is killing NCAA football.

muggs
Oklahoma, Kansas, Hawaii, USC, or Virginia Tech. USC did lose to Stanford...AT HOME, come on guys. btw- I'm book marking this right now. When OSU wins, I'll call you out, one by one. You all do realize OSU is one of the top three programs in the nation, don't you? They lost their Heisman winning senior QB, their starting runningback, two of their wideouts were drafted in the 1st round, and their only loss was too a BCS bowl team. LSU is very overrated...a solid team, but in no shape or form is it a lock for them to win. And if you think Georgia, Kansas, Hawaii, Va Tech would stand a chance against LSU or OSU, you have to rethink this game a bit.
Guest Andrea
Not saying Hawaii stands a chance at winning. But they at least deserve a chance to PLAY. The only team to go undefeated!
muggs
Not saying Hawaii stands a chance at winning. But they at least deserve a chance to PLAY. The only team to go undefeated! Why would the BCS put a team that doesn't stand a chance at winning into this game? Btw- all of you who support the en vogue arguement that the SEC is all that is college football, you should be in agreement with the BCS leaving Hawaii out (if you're not picking it up- I'm talking about you John). Tominator
Not saying Hawaii stands a chance at winning. But they at least deserve a chance to PLAY. The only team to go undefeated! Kind of like Boise last year, and look what they did to Oklahoma. Like I said, BCS system sucks. Top 8 teams go, let the boys play it out. Guest Andrea
To answer your question Eric...they would not put Hawaii in. Reason and one reason only: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. The system stinks. It always has. If you think it doesn't, it's only cause your beloved Buckeyes are in the top seat.
