hutchies
Thanks guys for all the wishes and prayers. We had a long journey the past month and I'm starting to feel like the hospital is our 2nd home. I will say though that St. Francis in Tulsa is a very nice hospital with a great staff. Here is what happened She had the car seat up in the child seat locked in. She stopped the car and turned around to get onto our other child that was acting up and when she stopped the baby's car seat went over into the cart. I don't know how and at this point don't care. Watching them put my son on the chopper was something I hope I never have to see again. They wouldn't let my wife ride along so she was bawling all the way to Tulsa...........which we made in record time. Long story short he had a small skull fracture which resulted in a tear of the lining of the brain. It never got any bigger and he is doing great. Really honestly makes me wonder how many kids in life have had head injuries that were more serious than we have taken them to be. When she called and said she was headed to the ER I thought she was a little paranoid but I am sure glad she did. Better safe than sorry. And yeah I had a deal in the works since last week. Bought a beautiful Blackout Blue Apex7................Can't wait to get her setup and man I'm ready for indoor and 3d season.

Guest Andrea
I'm really glad to hear he's okay Hutch. I know you are relieved!!! I must say when I first heard about it I thought he was in a shopping cart. Did his car seat fall over inside your car??
hutchies
No, she was in Lowes and the car seat went forward over into the shopping cart.

hutchies
Dang it Jeramie........If I would have known you were that close I would have bought you lunch cause you would have been the one driving. Such a big town. I wondered how far you were from us but we couldn't have the phone on inside the Pediatric ICU unit.

PotashRLS
God Bless and Merry Christmas! Christmas will be even more merry now. My heart breaks when I hear of these things. Being an EMT for over 12 years now, I find that since having my little boy (now 2 1/2 yrs old), kid calls are that much worse for me. I feel a bad kid call will be the end of my career some day. We had to fly out a 3 day old one time and it still sends shivers down my spine when I think of how the parents must have felt. God Bless Hutch...........
