hoosierhunter
I need a opinion in this gun and how it shoots. I'm deciding between several guns, but in the meantime someone bought this one for me. It seems to shoulder extremely well for me and I love the thumbhole stock. I wanted some peoples opinions on how it shoots though. Thanks, Pat

Guest Spotteddog
I have one and I enjoy it. It does shoulder easy, but makes for a hard time carrying in the woods with the thumbhole someties.( I carry my stand and backpack) It took no time to sight in and I have had no problems at all. It has been a very good purchase ($300) and I will not be getting something different.(I was planning on getting this gun and then getting the encore and sell the XLT) If you have any other questions, just email me. hoosierhunter
Thanks guys. I have elected to keep it and I think I'm putting a Nikon Monarch on it. The thing just shoulders perfect for me so I figured let's save a few hundred bucks and see how it does.......
Guest scubabeartoo
Have you looked at Nikon's Omega scope for your black powder rifle? Nikon has designed the scope for the muzzle loader hunter. www.opticsplanet.com has them listed for $189.99 currently. Bear
LETMGROW
My son and I both have Traditions Pursuit Pro's. My wife has a Traditions Pursuit LT. All have proven to be real good shooters. The only common problem we have is none of these guns likes the 209 primers for muzzleloaders. The action closes too hard and I question the safety of trying to force the gun to close with the primer being pinched a bit. Standard 209 primers present no problem and they shoot just fine. Accuracy is good with all three.
