I dont know what happened but I have some ideas. Sorry to hear that, all too familiar is the feeling of what you are probably feeling right now. Do you know the persons hunting the area near the road? Might show the pics to some other hunters in the area, kind of see if anyone has heard stories of anyone "killing" it. They like to sneak on the land and hunt. I busted two of them on Sunday and ran them off but Im afraid that if I push too hard then my place will get burned down. I had problems a few years ago when crack dealers moved into the duplex across the street from me . I informed the police at a traffic stop just down the road from my house. They sent an officer to talk to me . the funny thing is that they wanted me to do their job for them writing down the licence tagg and decriptions of the people that came and went . I promply asked the officer what he did for a living! He said: I am a police officeri I said guess what! I am a parts counter man in a auto dealership if you want parts for your car I can help you but I am not a sworn and trained police officer. They took about six months of investigation before busting them . They are now pulling 10 years in prison . Sometimes you just have to make a stand and take action .If you do not they will get bolder by your inaction . Better yet do not talk to the regular everyday officer on the beat go to his boss and let him know whats going on . My mother always said if you want somthing done talk to the guy that signs the front of the paycheck not the back!!!! Not trying to demean the fine fellows the have sworn to serve and protect .
