TreeStandBowHunter
FINALLY!!! I didn't know that they had an archery range over here in Okinawa so before we came over here, I took all my hunting stuff home to my fathers house. After I get here, I find out that they have an archery club on the Air Force Base that is here. So I had my father send my bow and it's accessories (Which cost over $100:eek: to ship). Well after almost 8 weeks in the mail, it finally arrived. I can't hunt here in Okinawa but at least I can still stay in tune;) I'll take some pics of the range tomorrow and share. It's not the best archery range but it will work for 3 years.

Adjam5
Good Stuff! I glad it all made it over intact. Shippers beat the crap out of packages especially ones traveling that far. Thats pretty cool... a archery range on Okinawa. At least you can stay in tune and fling some sticks. Enjoy!

leatherneck
Hey Guns, do you have to check that into the armory like you would a gun, or can you have that in base housing? I know that they wont let you have one in the barracks, "I tried:D" But I didn't know about the housing. Semper Fi
Guest adrenaline_junky
That's awesome that you can at least keep shooting. When you get back you'll be driving tacks and that means look out mr. whitetail.

LifeNRA
Good for you Mike! Funny, I just read an article in one of the hunting magazines about the lack of hunters in Japan. Whatever deer they have, had an explosion in their populations. Too bad you cant hunt them!

TreeStandBowHunter
I will be awaiting the pics. You'll be waiting for a while because I never brought the camera:D I'll probably run out tomorrow too so I'll take some pics then. There are some mongoose running around out there too so I will try and get a pic of them as well. Tony, I could take a mac flight home but it's a hassle. It's much easier to fly commercial except that it would cost big bucks especially for the whole family. John, no deer here on Okinawa. Mainland might have deer but not Okinawa. They do have pigs here but you cannot hunt here though. Our archery range has lockers so I will just keep my bow out here. Only the troops who live in the barracks have to keep their bows in the armory.
