MUDRUNNER
Last night was my first trip to the E.R. with one of my kids. My 1 year old boy woke up Monday with a little fever. My wife took him to the doctor and he said it was just a virus.Give him childrens Tylenol and keep him hydrated. If his temp gets above 104 bring him to the E.R.Well,he woke up around 9:00 last night and was burning up.His temp was 105!We put him the tub and got him cooled down and off we go to the E.R.After 3 hours there they find out it's strep throat.Thank God it wasn't worse!Pretty helpless feeling as a parent having a sick one in the E.R.I was really worried about his temp being so high, but the doctor said kids are really resiliant and he should be fine.Scary stuff regardless. Guest Finn
Glad he's ok...that's scary stuff. Casey went to the ER probably 5 or 6 times with fevers from ear infections.

Guest Andrea
Glad he's back home and getting better. Wonder why they didn't test for strep to begin with. At least you know now!!!
cinch314
Glad he is getting better now. It really scares me when kids are sick especially if they are too young to tell you what hurts and such.

RangerClay
I remember when my baby girl got the croop and had a 105 temp. It broke my heart to watch her like that. I hope your boy heals quickly.
