Guest Kelby Wright
I have my bow sighted in great on the ground, and i hunt about 12 to 15 feet off the ground. On a compound bow does shooting from a treestand change the arrow placement enough for me to resight from the tree? thanks
MichiganHunter
i think u would be "OK"....i wouldn't change it if the season is going and u are shooting pretty good....but i sight mine in from my room (it's like 14 foot) and there is a slight difference as u get out in range...but if it were me and i still had hunting to do.....i wouldn't touch a thing. Guest bigalt78
i usually hunt around 30 feet and i have to adjust a decent amount but if you dont go over 15 you shouldnt have to worry about too much but definatley do not resight your bow in from the tree i say sight your bow in on perfect flat ground and then practice a good amount of shots from a elevated area. luckily the archery shop in my town has a whole upper level to shoot from so it's pretty nice, but i would just say go out and shoot from a elevated area awhile it'll help. Bowtech_archer07
I hunt 10-15 off the ground as well and don't have a problem with my arrow placement being off. Before next season though, I would practice from an elevated area just to make sure if I were you.
Guest Finn
It will be fine if: you bend at the waist instead of just dropping your bow arm to the target. That's the key to shooting from an elevated stand...simple, eh!
