Tominator
Yep, I love shooting my Encore too. Thanks to Ohiobucks, I am now hooked. I shot a doe last week with it, and my son took his first deer ever with it a few weeks ago. Deadly accurate. We shoot 100 grs. of Pyrodex pellets, 250 gr. Shockwave using Winchester 209 primers. wtnhunt
Thats cool. Like my TC, just a black diamond, but it is pretty accurate. May eventually upgrade to a newer ml one of these days.

PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
Oh yea when you get one to shoot it is heaven on earth. A couple of years ago I bought a Knight Bighorn inline and after the very first range session I was and still am in love. I love to experiment with loads and powders and have found mine likes heavier bullets in the 300 gr range. I have killed several deer with that combo and my son has one to his credit with the Hornady 300 gr XTPs and crush rib sabots. Man it is a deadly combo. For those of you who have trouble getting your smokepole to shoot keep trying different loads and combos but change only one thing at a time. It may surprise you at how much more accuracy you will get with only a little change. Front loaders are a picky bunch and you just have to find what it likes. Oh yea when you find it--- heaven.
