Guest smacky
i need to buy new arrows for bowhunting and was wondering what you all shoot or help me choose a good arrow. i have a 27.5'' draw length and shoot 60 pounds. i currently shoot an Easton C2 (realtree camo) 400's that are 9.1 gpi, and i want to go with a lighter arrow to gain speed but yet i don't want to give up a lot of kinetic energy. is there an equal balance between the two for me? i've heard that gold tip pros and carbon express maximas are both good. please help me with my arrow setup! arrow32
I'm shooting Easton Light Speeds right now. Decent arrows but don't think I will be shooting them next year.

woodsman2230
I have the same draw length as you do. I shoot the Easton ST Axis 400 arrows at 70#'s. They shoot great. They fly straight and boy do they hit hard.

mule659
I am shooting carbon express maximas...they rock. I just switched to them however before them was shooting Vapor pro series and they were great arrows at a pretty good price.
gowest
I used to shoot A/C/C's - they hit like a sledgehammer; but have recently switched to the Carbon Express Maxima's - a little faster, and a little more durable. Some days I wish I still had my A/C/C's - these two are not a whole lot different from each other regarding terminal performance. Guest bigalt78
well if you want speed and kinetic energy i wouldnt go with 400's i would use 350's. I use 400 radial x wieve's but my bow is at 84 pounds and im shooting over 310 fps so i got a lot of speed and a heavey arrow and i am very satisfied with the radial x wieves. So i would suggest the radial x wieves they fly great and they're a really durable arrow.
Tom2008
I shoot Carbon Force Radial X Weave Predator 300 arrows. This is my opinion, but I think they are one of the strongest arrows on the market. We've shot these into cinder blocks and they have come out intact. The straightness on these arrows is just unreal. My predator arrows have a straightness of .003.
earnhardts12000
carbon express wolverines just started using them this yr did job for me there accurate, durable, fast best thing is there cheap at walmart
Bownarow
I shoot and love the Easton ST Axis 340's. With your shorter draw length and 60# draw you could probably shoot either the 340's or the 400's.
HOYTnMUZZYboy
I shoot Easton Epics 340 grain with a 100grain 3 blade muzzys. Killed 4 deer with them this year 2 deer with the same arrow. But think il be switching to the Easton Axis for next season.

HUNTINGMAN
If you are looking for speed check out the speed pros from high country but be warned that they are not very durable. When going from bemans to the speed pros I gained 30fps out of my switchback xt.Had to give them up for durability purposes and now shoot maxima hunters, the are what I think is the perfect all around arrow even though they slowed me back down a little, speed is not everything though. BCIrish24
I just switched over to Carbon Express Maximas this past year from Eastons and I couldn't be happier. They are very quick and worth the money.

wtnhunt
Not a popular arrow here, but I shoot the cabelas carbon sst shafts in 240's. With my old bow, they flew great for me, if I ever get my new bow back and get it setup right for me, hopefully they will continue to work well for me.
