Tom2008
I thought I would share my expierience with this pretty new product. It seems like a lot of people want to know how well it works atleast I get tons of customers at work asking. I ordered a 6 pack of Blazer vane shrink fletch and I am impressed. I got them in the mail today and had to try them out right away. I grabbed a coffee mug heated up some water in the microwave until bubbles formed on the side and got the arrows ready. As soon as I dipped the shrink fletch completley in the water it shrank right to the arrow. I pulled it out seconds later and it came out clean. There were no bumps and the vanes came out straight. I was shooting these 6 arrows about 10 minutes later. This new way of fletching is awesome! If I had a picture I would show it, but I forgot to take some. Anways, I will definatley be pushing this product at work(Gander Mountain), because it just is that easy to deal with. Here is a link to the Extreme's site for more information on Shrink Fletch. MUDRUNNER
I've been using them for 2 years on my aluminums with no complaints. Some people have not had good luck with them, but I have yet to have a failure when I put them on correctly. Most of my arrows have at least 100-200 shots through my whisker biscuit. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I like the idea for if you are at camp or something and need a quick fix on an arrow. But i'll stick to the wrapping and fletching my own. i like the ability of being able to pick which wrap and which color vanes, plus its fun
Equalizer
do they work on the easton axis arrows?
hoytman26
I've fletched my own arrows for about 10 years now just because I dont trust anyone to do my arrow because I'm so picky. This year I bought the blazer shrink fletch and I can honestly say I will never fletch another arrow ever again for my hunting arrows. We have killed 5 deer with them this year and not one came off after the pass through. Shrink fletch is awesome!!!!!! I used the same arrow for both deer I shot. Guest IllinoisMackDaddyHunter
I have used them this year and was totally impressed. I started out with the 4 in ones and recently switched to the blazers. Only problem i had was shooting through a wb the fletchings did tear off alittle. Put them in a jig and reglued them. Loved the way the Blazer flew with my broad heads so much that i purchased a drop away rest and problem solved. I will never fletch another arrow again.
