ilhnter
Well my season is now over.... i've filled all my tags. I hunt in southern illinois and my season is unfortunaly over until october, but it was a succesfull seasos, i filled all three of my tags. I took a big doe and a button buck with my bow and i took another button buck with my shotgun.... no complaints about this season.. good luck all
wtnhunt
Re: Successful Season Pretty lousy season here movement wise, but I am not complaining. Looks like the first year in several I have not filled a buck tag. Goals for the year were for the wife and my daughter to get their deer. The wife got her first buck, and my 8 year old had her chance on several does but she wouldnt shoot, and I killed a couple does.
Guest nubs
Re: Successful Season WTNHUNT, About the same here on deer movement. I just didn't see all that many deer this year. I had some pegged right before bowseason, then we got all that rain off the hurricane, and it washed everything out here on the mountain, altering the deer movement. I'am not complaining by any means, I was blessed with my two biggest bucks ever. One off Catoosa, a nice 8 point and another off public land, and 153 inch 9 point that is 22 inches wide inside. He dressed over 200lbs, and had a outside spread around 25 inches. So I aint gonna complain lol.
