Gravity Feeder

Anyone have any experience with the Moultrie Gravity feeder? I have never bought a feeder before and want one to play with. I dont want to get into batteries. I can get it for 89 bucks.

you can go to any lumber store and buy a piece of pvc pipe and a cap and do the same thing MUCH cheaper ;)

Yea you can make like 4 feeders that hold nearly a 50lb sack of corn for like 30 bucks.

yep--i've got several PVC feeders. They work great. Drill a few holes in the bottom for water to drain through. The deer took to them very quickly.

here is a pic of some we use....

At the bottom we have a rubber feeding pan....like what you would put horse feed into. Put some holes in it to keep water out....then we put a block or stick under the pvc to help the corn/feed run out into the feeding pan.
