spectr17
I talked to Joe Barrett and the hunts are full with a wait list but there are other activities if you want to bring a junior down to Cibola NWR this weekend. You also could hunt nearby on the NWR or other public land nearby. Camp will be where the paved road turns into gravel along the road to the farm unit, where everyone camps at Cibola on the BLM land. Junior Waterfowl hunt is open to AZ licensed Junior hunters 17yo & under accompanied by a licensed adult. No fee, but preregistration is required as the hunt is only opened to the first 60 Juniors who sign up. Hunt will be conducted on the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge along the Colorado River in Region IV in the duck blinds already in place there. Checkin on the afternoon of December 14. Hunting and clinics offered December 15. Checkout follows hunting December 16. Meals will be provided. For more information contact: Debbie Hovatter, 928-210-7304, [email protected].
