LETMGROW
Yesterday was the end of our deer season here. I didn't take a deer this year as I was waiting for the so called big one. we had seen some smaller bucks and an almost respectable 8 pointer. We let them go in hopes they will be back next year in full dress and as takers. Just a few minutes ago my wife shouted to me " come see this! " I looked out the back window where she was looking out and there stood an 8 point buck worthy of not only taking but having mounted! He stood under our Crabapple tree for over 10 minutes just antagonizing me. Oh well! See ya next season Bucky boy, I'll remember this. arrow32
That would be my luck! Thats to bad tho atleast he has an awesome chance of making it to next season tho and being even bigger as long as he doesn't meet up with a car. Hope you get a crack at him next year! cinch314
LOL I went out hunting and had been hunting for a week straight. Hard Core hunting. Anyways, one day I come back to the house and Nana said that her and my daughter were sitting on the back porch looking at the big 11 that I had been after. Said he just was grazing and looking like he didnt have a care in the world. LOL, deer KNOW!!!!!
Texan_Til_I_Die
Didn't you know that deer have calenders?
Dubie
It seems they stop in every year, pick up the season regulations, and mark thier "Nocturnal Only" weeks down. Or have "Pre-Season meetings" like in the Incomplete Deer Hunter... Geese are the same way. They're in the lakes and swamps all summer long. But on opening day you'll find them hiding out in the city parks...
