OJR
Needle Pusher! That is great! You only have about 50,000 needles to go to catch up with me! LOL! I just got done sticking myself twice because the meter for blood sugar was messed up! I had to use the control and then retest! Big difference!:(

Tominator
That's cool. Too bad you're in NY, I have to get a tetanus and pertussis next week. I'm getting the nasal form for the flu vaccine.
Guest Andrea
That would be cool to give someone a shot. Did your "patient" say if it hurt???

wtnhunt
My left Deltoid still hurts... LMBO, practice huh:D:D. Being a guinea pig is not for me. Have given a few shots in my time, my patients(cows) never cried about them. Some that are nurses for a long time still have terrible shot giving techniques. Have let my wife give me shots a few times, only when she was not mad at me though:rolleyes:, and she does pretty good.
Texan_Til_I_Die
...My left Deltoid still hurts... Here's a tip. Its usually not the contents of the injection that causes the pain, its the trauma to the muscle. Immediately after you get the injection, vigorously exercise that muscle for a few minutes and the pain will be less and won't last as long. I can remember our DI in bootcamp made us do pushups after we got our boosters. We always thought we were in trouble, but he always said "I did that for your own good maggots, work that *deleted* into your puny muscles!!!"
