toddyboman
Cellphone.....Yes I take mine incase of emergencies I hardly ever take a knife....it is sometimes good luck and I hunt on private ground so.... But I have forgot my facemask, gloves, binos.... I took the wrong shells with me turkey hunting one time.... I was all set up and getting ready to load my gun when I realized :( So I went all the way back to the house to get the right ones. Only to come back sit down for 5 minutes and shoot a nice 20+ lbs gobbler.:D So that worked out ok
Dubie
Cellphones don't get reception where I hunt anyway. Never take the thing. Besides, if its the kind of emergency I can't wait out the night until someone comes looking for me, I probably ain't dialing the phone... wtnhunt
Have gotten to my climber on a few occasions and not had my pull rope, ended up hunting different stands on those situations. Been a few times I have left a flashlight behind too.
slugshooter
Toilet paper and my knife in case I needed to clean one. Forgot my rope to pull my gun up a couple weeks ago. An old buddy of mine forgot to put the plug back in his shotgun when we went Dove hunting one day, he used a corn stalk and cut it down. Tominator
ok, what did ohiobucks forget? Wasn't him, it was me. Took a day off to go bow hunting, we were getting our gear on, and we always seem to have about the same routine, put the harness on, get the camo on, boots, then back to the cab to grab the bow, a little rock and off we go. (that rhymes) So November 2nd, we did the same thing, back to the cab and it hit me a split second before it hit Tom. I said "you're not going to believe this...." and Tom said "you forgot your bow, didn't you..." Yup. Back to Sparta, 40 minutes away. Got back after losing about an hour and a half of the morning hunt. 11 a.m. the same morning, is when that big 150 class 12 pt came in behind my stand and stood broadside at 32 yards. Now that would have been a story if I put him on the ground, eh?
Palssonater
Seems I have picked more trigger locks off then I can remember. I should really get them keyed alike.
