wtnhunt
Dont know, I kind of miss my pse fireflight 33, it sure was a good fitting bow for me. Was a pretty cheap bow in comparison to a lot of these bows on the market, but it was very light and man did it ever shoot fast and flat with my carbons. Looking forward to shooting my new pse, but have to get it straight first.
arrow32
I shot that Katera(sp?) down at the shop didn't do much for me. I tell the bow I really liked and loved hoyt came out with this year and that is the seven-thirthy seven. That is on my list to order next month to shoot indoor with. Awesome bow. That new Mathews just didn't do a thing for me.
RUTNSTRUT
ROSS CR334 smooth draw, super quiet, and zero hand shock, this bow is just plain a shooter. I never thought I would quit shooting Hoyt's. Now I know I will always shoot a Ross. I am buying another 334 next week, and the new Cardiac this summer. Turkeygirl
Hard to say...I've only shot my 06 Hoyt Rintec XL so I wouldn't know...though I held a Hoyt Selena over the summer and it felt great! I think Bowtech is putting out some great bows also. I think in another year or so I may have to get a new bow just because I'm almost maxed out in my poundage... Missilelock
I with livewire.- I had a switchback, I liked it ok, but sold it on ebay & bought a martin sabre for half the money & like it as well or better. Maybe Im just gettin tight, but I can spend that 400 bucks on a huntin trip.
Guest BRIAN HEITTER
I Think most of the bow companies make good quality bows. I have always had a mathews up until this year, i got the hoyt katera. really like it, it fits me good..
HUNTINGMAN
I dont think you can buy a bad bow now days, with the exception of a few limons. The Mathews switchback xt is prettysweet for me though
Randy
I think there are two kinds of bows. One would be a $300-$400 bow the other a $700 and up bow. Big difference between the two. As far as brand name, I personally will be buying a Ross Cardiac or a Mathews.
dbHunterNY
I've only had one... Unfortunately, I have not upgraded yet. I still have my beginner bow, a Buckmaster BTR32, from Walmart. I will tell you that I've shot a bunch of the new bows for '07 and mine is not my favorite. Although it works (shot a fox this past season), I'm thinking about getting a Diamond, Bowtech, or the Gandermountain Tech Hunter Elite. We'll see. Not to choose sides but I think the Switchback has turned into a legend of a bow. I have not met a person to knock the performance. - Dan
wvhoytbowhunter
I purchased the Hoyt Vectrix this year after using the same Darton for the last 15 years. The Darton;which is still an excellent bow, served its purpose but I love my new Hoyt. It fits me very well. Happy Hunting
