IowaDeerHunter
I just saw the new switchback in Scheels today. Very nice, but still more money. The only difference I remeber is more weight in the cams, and something new about the limbs, and a couple different silencers. Very nice bow and worth the $749 dollars it cost, but for 600 I would probably buy the Outback and save the money, knowing both can get the job done. They both are great bows though, and shoot like a million bucks.
JimT
Re: switchback vs. the outback? From what I am hearing the Switchback is not worth the extra money. It is just not that much better than an Outback.
ScottyLuck
Re: switchback vs. the outback? I own an Outback and have shot a SB. It's a real nice bow. Very smooth. It's not much different than the Outback however. It's faster and just as smooth. If you're into the speed thing it's a step up. It's just as smooth as the Outback. The cams are different. The Outback has the HP cam and the SB has the new Cobra cam. The SB is also has an 1 1/2 linger ata which is not really a big difference. They are both very quiet and very smooth. It's totaly up to the shooter. I may buy one, set it up to my specs and see which one I like better. Prices will vary on these bows so shop around if you can. They are not anywhere near $749 at my local shop.
IowaDeerHunter
Re: switchback vs. the outback? Really? The Outback's at Scheels are 599.99, ans the SB is 749.99. I thought that was a little high for JUST the bow itself.
