Tominator
I am with Finn on this one. Weather or not this is the place for this kinda stuff or not, I dont know:confused:. But I dont see why you let the girls run their little contest, and squash this one right away. I see what looks like some favorites around here:mad: and that aint right either. I bet if a Mod was to be so involved in this one like Andrea was in the other you would not have said a word. I could care less about the whole thing to be honest, but I do see it a little unfair:confused: Merry Christmas!! Love you guys:D:D:D Trust me, there was a lot of debate on that contest too. We shall see. Y'all ought to cool off. Aren't there bigger issues in life, sheesh, come on.
VermontHunter
OK, I'll comment on the shirt, and only the shirt. I think the splattered blood sends the wrong message about us, as hunters. There is that good enough? LMBOROTF.....:D:D Good Ol' Muggsy... preacherman
I can say to myself, "I told ya so!" I saw this coming for the last few weeks. If the Mods allowed a Mr. Realtree contest then a Ms. Realtree would soon follow and it would get squashed. I agree with Al in his decision to stop the thread but I also believe that the Mr. Realtree contest should have been stopped as well. If you are going to allow one contest then you should allow the other or squash them both. It's only fair. Why should the ladies be treated differently?? I agree totally. I didn't like the "Mr. Realtree" contest and honestly I am against a "Ms. or Mrs. Realtree" contest. Don't think things like that should be allowed here on the forums. Just my honest .02 worth. I'm done...and feel much better.
mrswtnhunt
Geesh, I was hoping the Ms. Realtree contest would start soon. No offense Buckee.:D

No offense Buckee.:D :eek:hehehehe :D:D, ya, and I was second :p:D:D I for one, think the Mr. Realtree was all in fun and in good taste, but I have to agree -- a Mrs. Realtree could and probably would get out of hand real quick That is just the way the male population operates in this world

cinch314
I like the shirt except the blood on it. I'd rather for my own kill to add character to the shirt.

muggs
Go figure....... How come stereotypes are only OK when they're used in reference to men, and more often- white men? I feel like a piece of meat after entering my pics in the Mr. RT contest now.

Gator
How come stereotypes are only OK when they're used in reference to men, and more often- white men? Holy Snikes, I am gonna agree with muggs?? That is correct, cuz I am. Sorry, but if this is the case, then the Mr RT contest should have NEVER happened. Only after 22 pages did ANYONE complain about it openly. I am sure it was talked about behind closed doors, but was allowed to go on. There was even talk then about a Mrs RT, but noone ever started it. My biggest complaint is that it was good for the goose but not good for the gander. I DESPISE double standards or anything that appears to be a double standard

You think you feel like a piece of meat...I feel like I just got roasted I'd give you my crown, but I didn't get one All joking aside, maybe it would be better to err on the side of caution, rather than give us moderators more work to do, especially at Christmas time. I have no doubt we could keep it clean and fun, but have also seen what testosterone has done in here in the past. Heck, we all know Andrea would win anyway
