Guest realtrhunter
As I was driving around looking for a place to live, I saw a lot of turkeys today. I saw about 12 in all but all on public land.
Strut10
Hopefully Old Man Winter will be kind to them. We seemed to have a good hatch & survival this year too. That means we should have a good spring 2009 season. I think I left enough mature birds this past spring (with the help of Lilmissdangerous ) to get me through the '08 spring season. Turkeygirl
I think it's going to be a great spring for 2008. The fox population I think has gone down a little. The poults I saw after turkey season this year survived because I saw them a few times and shot one for Thanksgiving. I think that big gobbler I missed in the spring made it through also. And there was a bunch of turkey on some state land also. Looksl ike a good spring coming up.
