i know that this subject has come up before but never took notice till now

i am looking to make the switch over to carbon arrows from aluminum arrows.

i presently shoot easton 2315 and really like them but i would like to add some speed to my bow without "cranking up" the bow.

just wanted to know what others are using and see what would work for me

thanks

Re: carbon vs. aluminum

i just switched, bought the inexpensive Vapors, by blackhawk, and i am happy with them, they are fast, i only needed to make a slight sight adjustment. I bought the cheaper ones, to see if i liked carbon, i will probably stay with them, although they only come in black, i will probably not go back to aluminum.

Re: carbon vs. aluminum

defienetly the GOLDTIPS. I love em......have shot them for three years ever since I bought my Mathews. I will never go back to aluminum. I had a beautiful 8 point under me shot my alum. arrow and it dove right under him.....needless to say it was bent. Man i was kicking myself for ever over that one. It just takes one more thing to worry back out of the equation when the opputurity comes

Re: carbon vs. aluminum

The main reason I switch from aluminum to carbon arrows was because it was getting harder and harder to find proshops that sold aluminum arrows. I switched to Beman ICS Hunter carbon arrows this season and I guess they're okay. Most of my shots are within 20 yards so speed is not a huge factor for me. JMO.
