PotashRLS
How about those Pro Bowl selections. Pretty lame eh? It just may be time to get rid of it. You can't honestly tell me there are 11 players on the Cowboys that are putting up legit Pro Bowl numbers? Are the other teams that bad? It doesn't make much sense. What do you think???? toddyboman
its a popularity contest, guys are voted in by friends not on who is playing the best....
buckbuster11
I actually like a lot of the selections this year. Looking at the NFC roster I only see a couple people that dont deserve to be there. Marion Barber and Lance Briggs. That's about it. Polamalu and Ray Lewis don't deserve it in the AFC, maybe a couple other guys but I think for the most part the right guys got picked. Tominator
Polamalu and Ray Lewis don't deserve it in the AFC, Last year for Palaamarmalade, guarantee. This year or next.
Guest Finn
The Pro Bowl and All Star games have lost about every thread of interest the public had for them.
muggs
I was OK with DA and Winslow being left out. But I thought the biggest snubs were Steinback and Joe Thomas. Jonathen Odgen missed half the season, isn't the player he once was- but he's got the name...
toddyboman
Fred Taylor didn't make it but he has never made the pro bowl:rolleyes: That's rather interesting as is the fact Sean Taylor made it as a starter ????:eek: WHY?? Yes he was having a good season but he could have honored him in some other way than giving him the starting spot that he obviously can not fulfill.....JMO

muggs
Not one Jaguar made it........what a joke. Honestly, and I'm not just saying this, I don't think there is one Jaguar that deserved to go this season. Now, that being said, how in the world has Fred Taylor not been selected ONCE?!?!?!? That poor guy gets shafted, and he's without a doubt, one of the best RB's I've seen in my lifetime, and he's definitely the most underrated. You can bet he doesn't make it into the HOF either...and that's gonna be a shame.
texastrophies
Personally I think it is a shame only 11 cowboys made it. I believe there are actually a couple of more that got shafted and should be on the team. :p:p
VABuckSlayer
I agree about the popularity contest. I know I won't watch it unless I have NOTHING better to do. If that's the case I'll just watch an old Primo's video. Anyway... Colston got snubbed I think. Holt is good but Colston has better numbers. I mean just look at this year. Parker is the leading rusher in the NFL, LT is well.....LT, and you can't argue with Addai's numbers either. It's hard to make the argument that any of those 3 guys shouldn't be there. And then when you look beyond those 3 there are even a few more guys that are right there with Taylor, Jamal Lewis to be one of them. muggs
Yeah, Taylor always seems to get banged up just enough to keep him out of it too. What I mean is, he'll only miss a few games, so his numbers are good, but not tops in the conference. But when that guy was in his prime, he could control a game. Perfect combo of power and speed. Actually, that's what happened to Jamal Lewis this year. He missed one full game, and only had one carry against the Pats- then he got hurt. I think he would have made it if he had stayed healthy. Oh well, I'll take him missing a Pro Bowl if they resign him to a two-year deal.
Guest Andrea
I have a feeling Maurice Drew-Jones will make it next year.
buckbuster11
I have a feeling Maurice Drew-Jones will make it next year. I'd almost bet that Taylor makes it next year if he has any kind of decent season. With all the press about him not being there this year, he'll be there next year. Tominator
Ok Eric. The prediction is looking better though, isn't it? How many games has he missed in the last 3 years? Paloshamu, out, next year. Guarantee.

colts1888
I'd say Taylor most likely will make it now after tonight...Willie Parker just broke his leg.
