Fullfan
Well my 11 year old daughter had a bit of an accident last night at the gym. She slipped off the high bar and landed on her left arm. So she is going to be down and out for a while. She had to spend the night in the hospital and she had surgery this am for the re-set. But it gets worse, MOM ( my wife ) is her coach and was standing 6 feet away and watched it all unfold. Mom is still a tad but shook. Total is 4 broken bones in her left arm and wrist.I thought for sure this would have come from the dirtbike or fourwheelers.

buckee
Ouch is an understatement Poor girl. I guess the only good thing is that children heal faster than us old folks do.....but that's the only good thing

AdvantageTimberLou
So sorry to hear this, my 3 year old broke her arm just 3 months ago, not as dramatic though, she tripped in the doctor's office on a toy and landed on her arm. Prayers being sent for a full recovery! Hate seeing the little ones breaking bones! Only bright side is she can pick any color cast!

Randy
Sorry to hear that, kids tend to heal pretty fast. She'll be swinging on the bars in no time at all.
Turkeygirl
YIKES! that looks painful. I love to see x-rays though. I'll hope/pray she heals quickly. It doesn't take much to land just right on an arm and injure it badly.
