Chrud
I hate to say it, but I think Favre is going to retire. Sherman told him after the game to not let that game decide his future. It's not real clear right now, but I think that the family issue Favre brought up after the game might decide it.

LifeNRA
Re: Brett Favre to Hang It Up? He is a good QB, but I think he needs to sit down and think about his health too. But his love for the game amazes me! When his father died, and he kept on playing! WOW!

muggs
Re: Brett Favre to Hang It Up? It would be the right move. I hate seeing one time greats that stay in the game for to long. It tarnishes their legacy. Look at Jerry Rice, they don't even throw to him.

JJL
Re: Brett Favre to Hang It Up? He'll be back' However, there were stories in the news last summer, that, his youngest daughter didn't want him to play anymore. If he's as good of father as he is a QB.............. he'll probably have to do some thinking. It sure would be nice to see him leave while on top of his game............WAIT............ That would have been 7 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll miss him in Chicago......................NOT. Craig Nall can beat the Bears up now............yipee Have good day JJL
lil hunter
Re: Brett Favre to Hang It Up? I think he'll stay for at least one or two more years. I'd love to see him have one more great season, then retire.(kinda like what Elway did)

Guest Finn
Re: Brett Favre to Hang It Up? I love the Packers and Favre (have the beat up Packer mailbox here in Bear country to prove it) but the 4 inteception games are tough to sit through. Everyone has a bad throw now and then, but dang, 4 in a playoff game. That can't be any fun for him and it's not going to get any easier. It will be a sad day on the Frozen Tundra, but Brett may want to take up a little more bowhunting in the fall.
IowaDeerHunter
Re: Brett Favre to Hang It Up? i don't think he will retire for at least 2 more years. As big of ikings fan I am, I have to say favre is one of the best QB's and has great talent.
JJL
Re: Brett Favre to Hang It Up? Fearless???????????? I'll give him talent............ but fearless?????????? Fearless quarterbacks don't play "chuck and duck" football in the playoffs. They also take the hit and get the first down, ala, John Elway. Fearless quarterbacks don't shovel-pass five yards in front of the line of scrimmage to avoid being hit. BTW Chrud..... who's going to be the new GM........ Your man SHERMAN just lost half his job. Have nice day JJL

waterfowler_gal
Re: Brett Favre to Hang It Up? He's a great QB---I would love to try and catch a pass from him---It's like a fricken gernade launcher taking off! However I was wondering if he was color-blind... Green vs. Purple... what's up with that? lol He is a truly awesome QB though---I sure hope he doesn't retire yet...
Ravin R10 man
Re: Brett Favre to Hang It Up? Hope he hangs in there for another season.......read somewhere that he'd like to see some of his daughter's basketball games(in Mississippi) before she graduates in two years, so it won't be much longer if that's the case...... Chrud
Re: Brett Favre to Hang It Up? One more year I think. If GB could get it's secondary in order, they've got an offense that is better than the '96 offense.
